A bit of souly vibes for this rather grey Tuesday.

Manu Chao – Bella Ciao
It’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I’m studying in the library with some friends. Then it happens: one of the guys gets tagged in a Facebook Meme including „Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao Ciao Ciao“ and he does not know the song. This, of course, leads to a big, fat „what? you don’t know it?“ from my side and me singing the song to him. This again is overheard by another friend sitting with us, an Italian, which leads to an even bigger „WHAT?“ and a bit of Italian anti-fascist resistance history.
Well and in the end it also lead to this post with „Bella Ciao“, once sung by the awesome Manu Chao and one instrumental version of the Zaratustra Trio.
ROSALÍA – Malamente
This Sunday feeling
The Flamingos – I Only Have Eyes For You
This is for my sister and her newly wed husband. To them and to their beautiful and amazing wedding. I love you!
Dermot Kennedy – Moments Passed
Powerful Irish voice for this late start into the week.
Sky High – waking up at night to get some food
This „sunday in the sun“-feeling..
Damien Rice – Older Chests
Yes, I should be reading a paper right now, but this is too beautiful not to share. Almost forgot how much I like Damien Rice’s tunes.
Kelvyn Colt – Bury Me Alive
Almost cannot believe that this is the first time I’m hearing about this Wunderkind with german roots, Kelvyn Colt. Definitely worth following!
Childish Gambino – This Is America
Powerful new tunes by Childish Gambino.
